Since immigration is top of the list of concerns on the EU referendum vote, is UKIP wrong to highlight it in such a way on their Brexit campaign poster?

The biggest liars in this campaign are Cameron and Osborne, they've threatened us with famine, war and the like, forecasting what the country will turn into if the 'leavers' win, its scaremongering and lying of the highest order. Out for me!
ANOTHEOLDGIT, are you one of the many who believe "millions of people are going to come into the country in the next couple of years from Turkey?"

How ridiculous can they get, it is reported in this Guardian report that the poster has been reported to the police as being racist.

/// “To pretend that migration to the UK is only about people who are not white is to peddle the racism that has no place in a modern, caring society. That’s why Unison has complained about this blatant attempt to incite racial hatred and breach UK race
laws.” ///

Thank you the Guardian, you have done more in support of UKIP that you could ever dream possible.

/// But it is a lie. They are not migrants coming here, they are refugees from a war going to Germany. ///

Where on the poster does it say that they are coming here? But it is a possibility that their end of their journey's dream is to come here.

Have you any proof whatsoever that it is not?

As regards your suggestion of deception, wasn't that image of the father cradling his dead child in his arms also a deception?

He was not trying to gain a safer country for his family he was already in a safe country Turkey, but he was further putting the life of his child at risk in an attempt to get to Canada.

/// ANOTHEOLDGIT, are you one of the many who believe "millions of people are going to come into the country in the next couple of years from Turkey?" ///

And are you one of the very few who believe they are not?
Even Michael Gove "shuddered at UKIP migrants poster" apparently ::::

Gromit, //But it is a lie. They are not migrants coming here….//

We don't know if those people are intending eventually to make their way here - but for the sake of clarity they should have used a picture of the 5000 trying to get here from Calais. That definitely wouldn’t have been a lie.
The poster is an own goal and could have been avoided.
It hasn't done the Brexit cause any good.
Its similarity to Nazi propaganda is very unfortunate.
It hasn't changed my opinion. Those people are heading into Europe and we're 'Europeans' .... well, at least for the next few days.
Gromit....unfortunate but hardly unexpected from Farage and UKIP.

A spectacular own goal indeed.
Strange how people clamour to be ‘Europeans’ but when migrants are photographed flooding into Europe, suddenly they are nothing to do with us.
Funny how when they cross the Channel they suddenly come to a halt. You don't see many trying to cross the Severn, more's the pity.
Those ever-ready to jump upon the bandwagons of the unthinking have missed the point of the poster entirely. It’s about Europe and what is happening in Europe. They need to remind themselves that currently we are a part of Europe - and if they have their way, we will remain so.
The people photographed are refugees, not migrants. To deliberately confuse the two is pretty low, which is why UKIPs oponents are having a field day over the poster.

The war in Syria is not the EUs fault. Nor is the resulting refugee crisis. But the problem is on our doorstep, so we should try to help. Non EU countries like Australia, USA, Egypt are helping.
Gromit, //The people photographed are refugees, not migrants. //

Of course they are. Cant see many elderly men or bedraggled women and children among them though - can you?
// Cant see many elderly men or bedraggled women and children among them though - can you? //

Perhaps UKIP selected a picture without those on purpose. There were women and children there.

Gromit, do you really think all the people in those pictures are genuine refugees? Incredible!!
^The first 5 words would have sufficed, Naomi.
ANOTHEOLDGIT, unless Turkey joins the EU in the next two years there will no right for any Turkish folk to enter the UK in a couple of years' time let alone millions so what are you on about?
