Thanks for linking to Hitchen, who I normally don't like, but this was an interesting opinion.

Not sure what your quotes are for, or what the question is though.

Hitchens opins that we will have a great constitutional crisis, and that the prols will exact revenge on their masters. Thought provoking.

I thought they were a very good come back on those among you, who regularly come out with that well worn out phrase, ‘Little Englanders’, when anyone comes to England's defence, at being ruled by a foreign power.

Of course there are other cards they like to play such as xenophobic or racist, but they are also becoming very old hat and weak.

Answer, "Do they mean us"?
//We're about to unleash chaos...///

The whole debate has unleashed chaos with the scaremongering and claims from both camps, some of which have been preposterous and desperate.

The TV debates have fuelled doubt and uncertainty leaving many voters at this late stage still scratching their heads and unsure which way to vote.

I'm not so sure Hitchens is right though. Many people will not like the result but that's too bad. If it is a Brexit and at some point afterwards the figures and benefits are proven, then it will be a vindication.

Who could argue against that?
Someone with a time machine?
What a very interesting article!

For some time, I have been thinking about G. K. Chesterton's poem 'The Sleeping People'. It ends:-

'We are the people of England-
And we have not spoken yet.'

Prophetic?
I dunno. Englanders never speak. Most people think the Tories don't represent them, that's what I thought growing up in the 80s. Though many of us want a full blown revolution, it comes down to keeping the country stable as well, we can't destroy the country with Fire Brands...
> Though many of us want a full blown revolution...

Really? Have you been watching too much of Russell Brand?
Good article.
