So, everyone who said 'let them in' is responsible for Brussels..

Is this a realistic assessment?

...because if they were not here, they could not do what they do.

Hopkins singles out Merkel but she must have criticism of Cameron too.
perhaps but he's not in the schengen area is he?
She's probably including him in her overall criticism, but since he has put a limit on the number of refugees this country will accept, he may have got off lighter than Merkel.

Thanks for reining us back in.

No - I can't agree or disagree with her until I find out who the bombers are, and why they planted the bombs. If they are Syrian ISIS extremists, then I don't get the link between them and the refugees and/or Merkel.

If however, the bombers are refugees - then I totally get the link she is making.

Sp - bit like attacks on Turkey? Is it ISIS or PRK etc

I feared the worst after the Metro attack. You can never be sure if the attacks on the day had ended with many commentators saying until ISIS or otherwise had accepted responsibility then another attack could be on the cards.

Apologies - PKK

I still don't get the link. If the attacks were carried out by refugees, or more accurately, ISIS cells pretending to be refugees, then Hopkins' stance would make a lot more sense.
SP,//If they are Syrian ISIS extremists, then I don't get the link between them and the refugees //

It's not difficult to 'get' a potential link. People, mainly Muslims, are flooding into Europe from both Africa and Asia - and we've no idea who many of them are. Do you really imagine they're all genuine refugees? It would be remiss of IS not to take full advantage of the situation.
Daesh have claimed resonsibility according to BBC tv news just now. Wow quelle suprise!

DB @ 18:22, my money is still on the Bumblebee.

But the point of Hopkins' statement is that refugees and Merkel should be blamed.

If the terrorists are refugees (possible) or Angela Merkel (highly improbable), then I don't think that they should be blamed at this stage.

What if these terrorists are Belgian nationals? What do they have to do with the refugee situation?
So, everyone who said 'let them in' is responsible for Brussels..

Is this a realistic assessment?

Well no, because most people can not do anything about letting the migrants/refugees in. They are just saying
''look at what a wonderful human being I am''

That said I would like to ask the 'let em' in brigade

How many atrocities should we endure and how many innocent Europeans are you willing to sacrifice before you start to re-evaluate your position?

Of course I don't expect an answer to that Q!

Merkel I do blame. Despite the obvious dangers of letting in more refugees/migrants ... she wants to let in more.

Frightening, given that more than half of their whereabouts are unknown!

For Funks Sake...
I'll take that as you couldn't give a sh... how many sp.

It's just a matter of time before there is another attack in the UK. And I believe it'll be a 'soft target'...a mainline station, or perhaps a shopping centre at Christmas

Clearly you know there is a serious problem. So judging by your answer to my question ... I was right you really don't care.
SP, //For Funks Sake... //

.... isn't an answer.

Innocent lives are at stake here - and one of them could be yours. Who do you guarantee we can trust?

My position is this...it's not right to blame refugees/Merkel until we know whether the bombers are refugees.

Today's papers are claiming that the bombers are Belgian nationals. If that turns out to be true, then what is the link between them and the current refugee situation?

If these murderers are born and bred Belgians, isn't the question of refugees moot?
