They should have no chance to murder someone as a form of punishment.

That said one wouldn't opt not to put an escaped prisoner back in gaol if they had broken out before the end of their sentence. Is failing to finish murdering a convict so different. Any option not to try again is simply a humanitarian gesture with associated risks.
Possibility, but it's a very old problem - Mary Queen of Scots was hacked several times before her head came right off.
She wasn't happy about it; thus the expression, being "hacked off".
No. It's barbaric. Just keep him in prison.
I know that what he did was terribly wrong, but putting someone to death lowers the USA to his level and helps no one.
This is monstrous. For a country chock full of so called born-again Christians,
America seems to want to kill as many of its own citizens as it can.

Clover Jo says it all at 09:08.
zero chances ag

if we had hanged all de Oirish terrorists who had said after various forms of abuse by the authorities - " yes sorr oi did it ! "

an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth

it is in the Bible -which you clearly havent read with the necessary concentration ( then and only then you can read the Quran )
Part of the difficulty is that the prisoners reps sued the english producers of thipentone ( which DOES work ) and they stopped producing it

so you are left with dissatisfactory combinations like midaz and pavulon
( which I wouldnt give a darg to be honest )
Over the years most botched executions ended with the person being given life and occasionally, as the event was considered an act of God, pardoned. Only in the land of the free will they go ahead and execute.
PP....there is a lot of things in the Bible and most of them are drivel !

PP; Out of interest; are your posts typed on a tiny smartphone, wearing boxing gloves? :0)

you wondered why it was a fave of the Bible belt south
PP....capital punishment is currently used in 32 states, as you say, mostly but not all, in the South.

As regards to the Bible, how exactly does an eye for eye, etc, sit comfortably with Thou Shalt Not Kill ?
Thou shall not kill.
But if thou doeseth, then thou shalt be kilt likewise....
If they must have their revenge on the worst of their felons, why dress it up as all clean and scientific?
Shoot them by firing squad and be done with it, save all this nonsense.
lol Shoota !
Does the "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" mantra mean that Romell should be raped before he is murdered ?
Even that doesn't always work douglas.
