I don't have an Ex wife, but if you mean Ex girlfriends I have quite a good relationship with a few. Wouldn't want to turn the clock back though.

I used to think like that Nailit - my ex- had a boy and a girl to rear when I met him - his wife died - 3 an5 years oold. I am like you they are now 30 etc. I wonder too. I loved him so much. Buth then again my pride would tell me you didn't me want me the first time - so funk off the second time. still I love him 30 years later.

After nearly 40 years I still refer to my ex as "The *** Queen" which should be a clear indication of answer to your question.

I banged a few boilers in bus shelters, behind a skip or on the back seat of a Vauxhall Viva back in the day but they weren't real partners. My first real partner, the person who gave me a bit of a fizz deep inside all those years ago, is still my better half now despite all the ups and downs in the meantime. Those old boilers can go and eff themselves.
