if you want a solo artist, better stick with George Formby and his banjolele

well Playboy has decided not to publish any nudes now, so not much interest, it becomes a look-alike to GQ or whatever that mag is.....
Ukuelele
No need to swear, cop.........
^^ no I can't Retro
I think Adele's 'Hello' is superb and if it is a homage to or inspired by Tom Waits, I don't mind one bit.
George Formby played both instruments.
Merely pointing out that George played the ukulele. Hence one of his many ditties entitled "i'm the ukulele man"
I can sing it if you wish:-(
I am looking forward to her new album. My copy of 21 is nearly worn out.
She's beautiful. Joe, you're a ***.. :-)
he played more than one instrument. Here he is with his banjolele

she may be beautiful but she is, or was, clinically obese and not a good role model for healthy eating or living. oh and if she's a size 14 -16 I must be a size zero (which I'm not) -seriously lol!
@retro...how do you know she doesn't eat or live healthily? There are many more reasons for carrying excess weight besides what so many assume...particularly problems with the endocrine system.
I think I'd rather have Adele as a role model for my daughter than Rhianna or Miley Cyrus, etc.

I'm surprised that joeluke is so bothered as he usually only wants to look down on the tops of the heads of his women, in any case...
weight or loss, her voice is still bloody good.....I very much like Hello and the Bond intro....now come on, Katie Melhua and let's hear you....
joeluke

Talbot…..You’d buy a copy of Playboy if she was centrespread?

No ... but the same goes for any of the 4 billion or so women in the world. I have better things to spend my wonga on than Playboy.

But if you find it titillating I say go for it!
She seems a likeable sort and she's had some good records out.
Slightly off topic, I read her boyfriend/oh/ex was a multi-millionaire, old etonian charity entrepreneur .
Anyone understand how you make millions out of charity?
