I'm all for sending them back to their country of birth/origin/whatever, but I fail to see why we have to provide a suitable prison environment when they get there.

Just send 'em back and let 'em deal with their prisoners how their legal system sees fit- none of our business.
It will be interesting to see the figures for the amount of Jamaican criminals sent back, when these new prisons are up and running.
Well put Boo.
Well it says anyone with more than 18 months left of their sentence.

I presume the legalities have been looked into which doesn't give them the right of appeal.
£25 million seems a drop in the ocean, after reading this.

It is actually £300 million of our hard earned cash that Cameron is dishing out to our colonial cousins.

Yes a £300 million infrastructure fund for a foreign region, while our infrastructure is crumbling under the weight of hordes of immigrants that we are taking in.
Would the prisoners to occupy this prison go from the UK voluntarily? And if they did would they be guaranteed access to their family life here when the sentence had been served?
// Still waiting for mikey and his few supporters to make their appearance.//

Oh calm down ! I know this is a light news day with not much new happening

outlay of £25m capital to save £10m recurring strikes me as a bargain to go for - whatever the political spectrum
^see Boo's post.

What about the £300 million towards their infrastructure fund, is this also money well spent?
it is not 'new money' but comes from a previously allocated aid fund ( was gonna be spent on aid anyway )

would not be a news item if a) Putin had reinvaded Ukraine or b) Prince Harry looked as tho he was gonna ask a girl to marry him or c) the public werent suffering from Corbyn-as-bgeyman fatigue
It's in the news whether you like it or not. No doubt, if the 3rd World War broke out a lot of other things would be relegated. For some of us, such things high-light the folly of borrowing money(of our grandchildren) only to spend £250million a week on foreign aid.
Appeal allowed only when they are back in there own country
What is he saying a world with out nuclear weapons idiot all the dishonest Countrys in the world no chance get real Corbyn
