During PM's Question Time, North Belfast MP Nigel Dodds urged Mr Cameron to condemn the Opposition leader who has appointed a shadow chancellor who believes terrorists should be honoured for their bravery.

Nigel Dodds said:

"Will you join with all of us on all sides of this House in denouncing that sentiment and standing with us on behalf of the innocent victims and for the bravery of our Armed Forces who stood against the terrorists"

For some strange reason, it was at this point that the BBC chose not to give us the benefit of the answer that Mr Cameron gave.

But this was the reply,

/// Mr Cameron replied: 'You have spoken for many, many in this House and I would say many, many, the overwhelming majority of people, the vast majority of people in our country. ///

But not the BBC it seems.

It was the question which was interesting not the answer.

The question was the 'spikiest' of the day.
Cameron's reply was just agreeing with the question and not at all interesting.

Seems to me then that this site is a waste of time, an ABer asks a question but no one is interested in the answers. LOL

Surely that is up to the viewer to decide, if it was the spikiest question of the day as you have said it to be, who knows what the answer would have been, and viewers should have been given the opportunity to find out?

Mushroom25,
None of them were looking for ribbons to stick in their coats. Their reward was the respect of their community.
Sandy, were community respect ribbons won by those who removed the miami showband from the northern ireland playlist? or those who unchilded several families in claudy?
Both good and evil can exhibit courage. But I suspect many performing evil acts hoped to distance themselves from the consequences but found themselves caught with no choice after but to continue on the course they embarked on.
As for the OP, of course the news interest was the question, I believe the OP believes it is implying something but I don't see that it is anything valid.
Mushroom25, one of the killers of the Miami Showband members moved to the Shankill Rd in Belfast where he's now engaged in tending to the spiritual needs of a small evangelical congregation. I doubt if his new neighbours ostracize him.
The Claudy bombers, though never officially identified, wouldn't have suffered that either, if they had been.
That quote makes no sense whatsoever
/People like Bobby Sands were brave. Though I doubt few in parliament, or here in AB, would agree.//.

no I am one of the ones who say he h ad a choice and chose the path

the truly courageous are such as Mrs McConville who do the right thing and die for it ( killed for aidnig a shot squaddie )
read some recent Irish history retro

and unfortunately it will - make perfect "sense"
Hey retro
someone on an Oirish phone in, phoned in and asked Gerry Adams
" what did Shergar taste like " ?

OK I agree not much to do with PMQs
Mr Cameron replied: 'You have spoken for many, many in this House and I would say many, many, the overwhelming majority of people, the vast majority of people in our country. ///

It was the grammar that did not make sense not the content

I know I'm one to talk concerning Grammar but I still can't make out the meaning of that sentence
Retro not a sentence structure I would use myself

" You have spoken for many people"

1) many
2) many in the house
3) many many people
4)overwhelming majority of people
5) vast majoritye

These are not disjoint sets - one person cd be in more than one category - and indeed many categoies
So now it makes sense -I think

You have spoken for many: many in this House, and I would say many, many; the overwhelming majority of people, the vast majority of people in our country.

so I guess this guy speaks for many many people in this country. Except the far right and commy corbyn.
