Well, it's bad news for yesteryear's refugees, especially if they converted to Christianity, in order to 'fit in' with us Brits. Conversion doesn't go down well with zealous Muslims.

Now, I've had the Diversity Awareness training course, at work. We all did. But, at no point did it tell me how to behave in a situation where I'm challenged, in the street say, by a fervent Muslim who has somehow caught wind of the fact that I'm an atheist (or I was dumb enough to wear a tee-shirt with a logo of that nature). Is atheism worse, in their eyes, than conversion away from Islam? I have no clue. Diversity Awareness teaches us how to treat others equally but it doesn't equip you to handle situations where they don't want to treat YOU as an equal, does it?
