Every year, he takes part in the Pride Parade ... on his mobility scooter !!
He carries a banner saying " I'm the oldest gay in the village".
In the past, he has been given a criminal conviction for being gay. This weekend, he married his BF, to coincide with Pride Weekend.

A nice lunch....2 glasses of good wine...........and now my thoughts.
Of course there is a relationship between homosexuality and paedophilia, but it involves pre-legalised homosexuality.The older homosexuals, repressed, may well have turned to paedophilia, or the other way round many homosexuals were paedophiles.

Breaking up such a relationship creates a victim (the one who does not wish to break up) and if they happen to have had children, don't you also count those as victims?

So in reply I say just do a google search regarding gay relationships and you will find numerous sites that support my 'sweeping statement'.
Finally in answer to your question "have you ever taken part in any sort of Carnival"?
My answer is no, not taken an active part, but I have gone along to various Charity Carnivals that have taken place over the years, such as the Hospital Carnivals that took place pre NHS days.

Homosexuality - an attraction to, and desire to form relationships with - someone of the same gender who is past puberty.
Paedophilia - an attraction to, and desire to form relationships with a child of pre-pubescent age, causing long-term physical and psychological damage.
How on earth you get a connection from those two I find utterly baffling!!
Just because homosexuality was illegal and opportunities were limited does not mean that homosexuals automatically turned to child abuse as 'the next best thing, and better than nothing' which is your inference - that is utterly farcical, and shows considerable ignorance of the specifics of either orientation.
