I don't think this is a 'criminal gang' scenario.

A lot of people who may not otherwise act like this have taken to the streets in protest at what they see as an injustice.

This action has in turn been hi-jacked by the villains who probably are in gangs, and enjoy mischief being made as an excuse to riot and loot - but I don't that that was how the situation started - it has sadly escalated into that scenario now.

As you are a self proclaimed expert on the crime trends of the Metropolis perhaps you can explain what all the yardie gangs in Brixton,Stockwell.Peckham,Haringey etc are all about.Now as I walked the streets of London many years ago with my blinkers on I thought these yardies were protecting their turf from other gangs who wished to expand their drug dealing and pimping enterprise on other territory. Hence the rise in stabbings and shootings. All changed now though.The Eastern European GANGS are taking over the pimping and drugs.
Oh well Andy. What do I know about the ethnicity of modern day gangs with my blinkers on when you can educate me with your rose tinted spectacles.

Sorry, I am unable to oblige, because I am not an expert, and have never claimed to be, so quite where that perception comes from, I have no idea.

If I have a degree of knowledge or expertise in a subject being debated, I will comment accordingly, but 99% of the time, my opinions and thoughts are just that - opinions and thoughts, so I am not claiming superior knowledge at all, never have, never would.

and I dont doubt that Baz was referring to the regularity with which blacks die in police custody when they er shouldnt ( coz they walk in with no bullet holes and so on)

I wouldnt say nature of the beast as I dont think our wonderful police should be likened to well animals ( I always thought the word pigs was MOST insulting ) - but I would say completely depressingly predictable

along with pedestrian videos, gone are the days when the police say they thought he was armed or they thought they were under attack and erm get away with it
