Not sure what point you are trying to make AOG ?
Just keeping up his quota
Let's hope the standard of poster improves before the election. That Conservative one is spectacularly bad.

Blimey has that pesky canary come back, I thought we had got rid of it a few posts ago.
Thats not very funny or very nice AOG...shooting messengers again it would seem !
Careful AOG,
The Ed seems to have zero tolerance for personal attacks at the moment. We don't want the thread to disappear, do we?

I would have thought that obvious mikey.

The Tories put their first election banner up for display, and the press fire the first salvo across the Tory's bow.

Imagine what they will find to have a go at the when the other party's decide introduce their campaigns.

Perhaps they will even start to comment on the important issues.

AOG...why don't you explain what point you are trying to make here ?

I don't want to see any post removed and I would much rather debate the matter.

Then perhaps he will first have a go at those who start these things off with their snide and offensive comments, all of which add nothing to the debate.
We crossed in the post AOG !

What you are alluding to is the normal cut and thrust of the debate leading up to an Election, and it will get a lot dirtier than this, before its all over. The Press have every right to call into question what any political Party does, as you and I, and everybody else on here will doing for the next few weeks !
The Press is very partisan in the UK. Interesting then that the Conservative leaning newspapers all seem very unimpressed with this opening effort. You would expect the Mirror and Guardian to attack it, but not the Mail and Telegraph. It really must be a duff one if they are knocking it.

It is not unusual Gromit unlike the Left's press, the Right's press does not have to stick to the party line, they tell it how it is.
The Conservative poster is a golden opportunity for spoofing. I am sure we will see some 'alternatives' in the following days.
Rubbish AOG ! You can look forward to the Guardian, and Steve Bell in particular, to be as fierce and unforgiving with Labour as it is with the Tories.

UKIP of course is quite another thing....not sure that any newspaper supports them, not even a little bit !

It's been a while since I've read anything so charmingly naive.

Or was your tongue in your cheek?
Is this the one with the clear Blue Road ,and green pastures , with no dark ,
or black , no traffic wardens no parking meters, no Mig,s, no yellow lines
Can I go and live there please.
