This wassock claimed that he was too weak to walk but went to the Gym everyday ( presumably he crawled there ) and entered bodybuilding competitions ! Did he really think that he was going to get away with it for so long ? And why did it take the authorities 8 years to find out that he was a liar and committed fraud ?

There is another thread running on AB at the moment. It is about how ATOS the governments service provider to access disability claims is certifying people as 'fit to work' and taking their benefit away when they obviously are not fit. I can't see how this guy got away with claiming for 8 years and did not have to be accessed by ATOS.

The reason that he got away with this fraud for so long isn't difficult...the authorities didn't do there job properly. Its not ATOS's fault, as they may not have been involved 8 years ago. This chap comes from small community in the Valleys. All the Benefits staff had to do was open their local newspaper.
You don't get to be Mr Wales and keep a low profile. He got away with it because he was allowed to get away with it...pure and simple.

Does anybody know whether these fraudsters have to pay back everything they stole as well as being jailed?
