I recall at the time thinking what a monstrosity it was. It doesn't look any better the more I look at it.
It looks more like a government research facility or former Easter bloc 'holding' centre.

Thoughts/opinions?

Regardless of the general looks of the property, one has to ask what kind of person would sell up and move out just because the police had carried out a search of their property?

Sorry for interruption chilldoubt,it is certainly not my taste,from the exterior anyway,for my £3 million I would hope to get something a bit more palatial looking than that,but then I am out of touch with house prices!
I read somewhere that he has now renounced his British nationality, in favour of somewhere in the Caribbean....does anybody know if this is really true ?

Why do you say that Murray? NYC is much safer than it was 20 years or so ago. I'm sure the security in a block like the Dakota is excellent. I just read the details of one flat,and the service charges were $8,500 pm....Eeek!

No,not really - we liked where we live and with 2 small children at local school/nursery it was never something we considered.
