I want my money back.
Creative accountancy I think!

If this was something they'd dissapproved of they'd have included x hundred million consequention loss to the economy of vast swathes of the capital shutting down in the same way they do when there's a mass snowfall etc.

It all rather depends on what you count!
Presumably you are hoping to induce another vitriol feast, I'd rather pay for a 1000 Thatcher funerals that pay all the work shy scum we have fior sitting on their ar5ses, so to answer your question yes worth every penny.
I'd have preferred the money to be spent on something else.
Yes. Think of all the money that goes on nothing. I am still smarting over the ten pounds I paid for 2 calls to 118118.
I agree with David Cameron..

"PM David Cameron said it was a "fitting tribute" to a major figure."
When I saw the words Thatcher and 1.2m, I thought unemployment had gone up again !
... and 1.2 million is certainly a major figure!
We don't know how much was covered by Lady Thatcher herself.

I guess that doesn't include the Met and MOD opportunity costs.

The Thatchers paid for flowers and undertakers, so a few grand from them then.....
No, I'd rather not have contributed at all.
If it is a bargain then I expect the same from you lot when it's my turn to go.
China, I thought you did the vol-au-vents?
I would like my 2p please so that I can decide how it should be spent.
I want my money back as well !
I don't mind, as long as Blair gets the same. Couldn't stand either of them myself, but fair's fair.
A great bargain, she was a great politician who spoke her mind - I know that many abers will disagree - so be it.
absolute peanuts when you compare it to the 55 or so million we throw each and every day into the eussr bottomless pit, or the billions into the bottomless pockets of foreign aid.

Still, it gives the bitter and twisted lefties something tangible to choke on
Don't have to be a errrrrrr bitter and twisted leftie to have disliked her.
