I've just seen a Tweet from Darshna Soni at C4 news:

https://twitter.com/intent/user?screen_name=darshnasoni&tw_i=337310141156306944&tw_p=tweetembed

"I have just spoken a mosque in Essex, who told me congregation was attacked by man in apparent "revenge" for Woolwich. More details to come."

I can't really think of a question, sorry. It just seems topical, and if more info comes out about it I figured it might be interesting to discuss.

Not all followers of Islam are to blame for this. I am quite annoyed that some people seem to think they are.
I want my country back.
not all, but their ideology seems to believe theirs in the one true religion, and that any others are infidels, those who bombed our streets were Muslim, the two yesterday one has to assume were Muslim, not to mention the ones in recent days who had been stopped from planting bombs, either by luck or design. So it's not just a handful of nutters.
Thanks Ed.
So it's not just a handful of nutters.

No em, it appears that there are lots of them !.
All religions believe that theirs is the one true religion. Normal (non extremist) Muslims have great respect for the Christian religions and the prophets.
no they don't. where do you get that idea. Non extremists, those who don't say a word against these heinous crimes, those who adhere to the Quran, those who communities don't allow mixed relationships, nor marrying into another faith, that follow Sharia Law, that do not permit women to work, those moderates.
It's not just religions em - it's philosophies in general

How many people have been killed bringinging democracy to them?

How many bombs dropped in the name of freedom?

I hope you don't think that's different because it's our philosophy? That ours is the 'right' philosophy and all the others are wrong

That would be very ironic
that do not permit women to work, those moderates.

I work with a muslim woman - shall I wander over and ask her what she thinks of your opinion?
I would class most of those things those you list as extremist ideologies em.
I grew up with Muslims and (in general) they do have respect for Christians, whether you want to believe that or not is up to you.
i never believed in our rights over others, but am sick to death of the apologists for these people.
i don't believe it. What i see around me is ghetto communities, segregation of a type i wouldn't have believed once.
"/// 99% of the Muslim community are law abiding /// "

yes and most of them dont want the attention this brings to them and their ideals and ideology.....why ?..because then they can carry on breeding in the numbers they do and getting into positions of power hoping that in the not too distant future they will gradually start taking over.

but of course to people of answerprancers iik, im one of AB's extreme right wing fanatics.

If I had made the same statements about the blight of mass immigration and the demise of this country every year for the past 40 or 50 I would still to this day be able to say "see I told you so"

these filthy extremists are just a sideshow to the real problem, but of course i'm just a racist bigot to some of the naive fools on here.

If the saying you reap what you sew were ever true, well its your kids and grandkids that will see the folly of your "isnt mutlicuteral britain wonderful"
I have to agree with you em, unless you live with it and see what goes on some just won't understand IMO.
I'm sick to death of people who assume that their personal experience can be generalised to the whole world and because they see a number of highly visible violent mulims all muslims are like that,

It's just incredibly lazy thinking

Like saying that I know a number of women who have banged their cars driving therefore all women can't drive
em, I see the same as you see.
I go along with that baz...future generations will inherit the changes to this country which IMO most have not been good!
Baz, read my post at 8.36.
That will be for the future generations to judge.
