Hi everyone, there is a word I keep hearing lately but cant spell it, I am trying to find out what it means. this is how it sounds --- DIE-AS-PER-S. can anyone help?

Where do you keep hearing it, gran? I do crosswords, teach English among other subjects and listen to radio 4 but I'm afraid I don't recall hearing the word before. I must pay more attention.

Went to a lecture once about Scottish Diaspora - very interesting to find out just how far and wide the Scots had travelled and settled.

It's really sad that the Enda and others are trying to spread/diaspora's the misery isn't it headwreck?

He'd be in for a shock if all these people decided to stay put in Eire, how many millions would that cost the Irish in the long run? who would want to return to a country that's in such dire strats? It's really miserable here, you have so many middle class people on the poverty line, it's really sad to see what the government are putting people through.
