What are the police playing at?

They have rearrested Freddie Starr.

Surely after all this time, they should be in a position to make up their mind about these celebrities. They'll probably rearrest the others as they answer their bail.

Lets hope so sara3, although I am not filled with confidence to the brim by any means. The Police have a fair amount of credibility to win back, and I am not entirely sure that they winning the battle at the moment.

the police will have a lot of work to do for the CPS to accept the case(s) for prosecution action. I'd rather they took their time and got it right.

Seems to me the police are damned if they don't investigate thoroughly and damned if they do.

Sadly too many 'normal' people are paedophiles and sex offenders.

Many outrageous and 'different' people aren't sex offenders. Alice Cooper was outrageous in his hey day but he is very much a straight and moral man, Bowie too was different.

Shame the offenders aren't born with labels on their foreheads so they can be easily identified
