Much has been said about the brainwashing of our children by 'nasty left' teachers, here two prime examples have been exposed.

One a member of The Socialist Workers Party is described as a special needs teacher, it would seem he is in need of some sort of 'special teaching', in the correct way to conduct himself.

The other well what can we say about her when she comes out with disgusting terms as this ‘Who wants to p*** on her grave?’

Both should be given their 'marching orders' but I doubt they will.

As 13 year olds we were handed copies of the Daily Telegraph by the Head of English and told "there are other newspapers but, if you seek the truth, read this." Looking back I suppose he was just as bad.

The DN can ask the question, but the tone of the article sounds like their attempt at demonising people who do not like their heroine.

Sacking people because of their political affiliation is wrong and sounds very much like the witch hunts of McCarthyism.

/// For what it's worth, I wouldn't want teachers lined up and asked if they were members of the BNP either. ///

This is not a matter of some headteacher lining up his or her staff and asking them for their political beliefs.

But what it is about is two teachers openly putting their schools into disrepute.
My daughter's English teacher instructed all the pupils to bring a daily newspaper to the next lesson.
Those pupils who turned up with something other than the Guardian were all called idiots by the teacher!
I would imagine that now the story has hit the news, they may very well get some form of reprimand for precisely that reason - that they have dragged the school into a news story.

Anecdotes are marvellous aren't they? We had a history teacher who told us that the only source of reputable news was from The Times....everything else was just commerce or biased lefties...

Please, please stop making things up in order to support your argument. It just muddies the water, and wastes all of our time.

You said:

"Had the teacher been a member of the BNP or the EDL and was seen openly demonstrating for their cause, he would soon have been sacked."

This is not true, as even a cursory search on the Internet proves:

Just to clarify, so that we don't go off on a tangent - are you saying that these teachers should be sacked for their behaviour or their political beliefs?

If that were the case, then parents should have complained to the head. That is completely unacceptable behaviour. Almost as bad as Adam Walker:

/// Headteachers are to be given the power to dismiss teachers who are members of the BNP or other groups which have an "extremist tenor". ///

It will be interesting to see if these two headteachers make use of their power.

Hmm...I think I may have to take my words back in a minute...!

Have a look at this!

As usual the ideological pure and correct like SP and JTP come out with their usual guff.

this individual can do what she likes in her own private little revolutionary left wing dream world, but she sure as hell shouldnt be bringing it to school with her.

Makes me laugh , the only bright spot in their pettly little insignificant lives is the death of an ex pm......doesnt make any difference to their own lives, there still going to have to pay their bills etc

how much sadder does it get than seeing these useless lefties "celebrating", what a pathetic bunch they really are.

how happy would they be if their neighbours threw parties if one of their family died !?....answers on a pin head

Now that's spooky - we found the same thing at the same time.
the Telegraph did once have a reputation for having the widest news coverage, so it wouldn't have been unreasonable to tell pupils to read it; they'd have found out more about what was going on in the world. So I wouldn't be too irate at McMouse's teacher.

Nor at these ones. There is no evidence whatever that they have been brainwashing children.
AOG

Is there any evidence that the teacher brought her views into the classroom?

Have any parents complained?

Like the BNP teacher, as long as someone's political or racist views don't impact on their teaching, should it be a reason to sack them?

I sir am not in the habit of making things up as you wrongfully accuse me of doing.

I too conducted a search on the internet but as you openly admit, mine unlike yours wasn't hastily or even carelessly conducted.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2010/nov/02/bnp-members-barred-teaching

Also if you are all that bothered about me wasting yours and other's time, may I suggest that you make better use of your obviously precious time by not responding, no one forces you to.
No because they are not capable of putting their own views to one side. Anyone is entitled to their views. I expect the ability to be objective in those teaching children. These are the sorts of people who have been churning out MTHs for the last generation. I wonder if their victims realise how used they have been.

Take a long hard look at these 'children' what do they know of Baroness Thatcher?

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/04/10/article-2307104-192F0218000005DC-257_634x357.jpg

This is the true face of the Nasty Left, the Socialist Workers Party.

As this columnist has said "the lack of respect for the dead is a disturbing new low in British life".

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2307104/Margaret-Thatcher-death-party-This-lack-respect-dead-disturbing-new-low.html

they are not capable of putting their own views to one side

Evidence for this claim?

Why are teachers the only people whose lives and beliefs are placed under the microscope like this? Surely parents have a greater influence, would we have their beliefs examined before they can have children?
Most teachers are too busy ticking boxes to indoctrinate their pupils.
Only the fundamentalist wants to ban freedom of thought or freedom of expression - Religious or Political, from either end of the political spectrum.

You can have no idea whether or not these two teachers are able to be objective during their lessons - there is simply insufficient evidence of that, so that is just your opinion, Danger, and opinions are like a$$holes - everyone has one.

That sort of thinking sits better in a theocracy - like those proponents of Sharia Law, or historically, Stalinism or McCarthyism.
