Why is it that this case seems to be a taboo subject?

Forgive me for raising this issue once again but I think questions should be asked.

I have just gone to considerable trouble to enter into debate on this case, only to find that the question has been removed once again, along with my post.

Why is it that very few wish to discuss this headline news report? It seems that just like the police ABers fear being branded as racist if they say anything that criticises the actions of these child abductors and rapists.

/// Former Labour MP for Keighley Ann Cryer said that the authorities ignored complaints about them because they were 'petrified of being called racist'. ///

The police who waited over two years before taking action, refuse to class this as a racist case, excuse me but this was an attack on white girls only, by gangs of Asian men, how can that not be racist?

If the roles were reversed and it was gangs of white men attacking Asian girls, there would be all hell let loose, especially if the police waited two years before taking action, no doubt we would have seen the Asian community taking to the streets in protest.

it can also be harder for young men to find partners when older men have more than one.
However[i, I've derailed the thread again...

Let's just say this...any man who conspires with other grown men to have sexual intercourse with a girl under 16 deserves everything they get. May every single day that they spend in prison be a day filled with fear of reprisal. May they suffer rejection from their families and may they feel shame for the rest of their lives.

I will not jump on the 'they did it coz they're Muslim bandwagon which is currently picking up passengers all over the Internet'.

I believe they did it because they were soulless filth...

There [i]is] something I feel like adding (with regards to their sexuality) - but let's save that ammo for another time...
joanne, because it has been reported that these men see white girls as
easy targets, easy meat, disgusting phrase wouldn't you say.
I watched the news report the other evening, one asian male was interviewed, he had his face obscured for reasons of his safety, said that his Asian friends consider these girls as slags, not worth anything, trash, and that they get passed around by these men for sex nothing more.

Re: your post from 15:07 - not Muslim girls though.

You simply don't get the same numbers of Muslim girls in care, doing drugs, drinking and becoming sexually active as non-Muslim girls.

It's one of the defining characteristics of Muslim girls!!!
no more than it is all Christian white girls, it's just how the media play things up.
em10

I meant 15:08.
Christian white girls are not in care. Do not do drugs and do not sleep around.

The girls I'm referring to are vulnerable because their home lives have broken down - their parents have (for one reason or another) failed, and they're left to their own devices.

These men aren't waiting outside churches to prey on girls.

No, they're waiting outside Nandos, cab offices, off licences, MacDonalds...

/// The effect of this is that Muslim girls don't end up hanging out at 11pm down the precinct, ready to be groomed by whomsoever is out. ///

Oh so they are open season for every paedophile killer or rapist, I think not girl's should be safe to hang around with their mates or walk down the street without the fear of being abducted by very male monster who wishes to take advantage of them.

/// Muslim girls don't do drugs and booze. Neither to white girls, but white girls in care are much more likely too. ///

Aren't black girls likely do drugs and booze also, so why are they not also targeted, by these sick gangs of Asians?

Old Git

where is your evidence that the Asian gangs targeted girls based on race?

where is your evidence that there were black or asian girls that they chose not to abuse?

/// That is because the girls in that position of vulnerability happen to be predominantly white. Arguably, that is because families in other ethnic groups are more protective/restrictive with their children. ///

That is racist in itself, are there not also a large number of black children in care, and also are there not a high percentage of absent fathers amongst the black community, and not to mention the black gangs?

So that doesn't necessarily make for some ethnic families to be more protective/restrictive with their children, as you so wrongfully pointed out.
[i]So that doesn't necessarily make for some ethnic families to be more protective/restrictive with their children, as you so wrongfully pointed out[i]

So Old Git

You are telling us that you think Muslim and Hindu families don't place any more restrictions on their children than the vast majority of white people would think 'normal'?

Is that right? Or are you wrong?
Even if it was the case that these girls were seen as 'easy meat' by the perpetrators, that is nothing new abusers often rationalise their abuse, the fact the guilty men were asian is still completely irrelevant, i'm glad they've been caught & found guilty but cannot understand what their ethnicity has to do with it
Sp, that is a truly bizarre statement, Christian white girls are not in care..

zeuhl, as i said, it would seem they largely preyed on very young white girls, no where in these articles, tv news has it been said they targeted asian or black girls. If they have, did, then it's not been mentioned as far as i can tell.

At the end of a long day, they have gone to prison, i wish the judge would have sentenced them all to a lot longer, but perhaps this sends out a message, this will not be tolerated.
personally i think it has everything to do with it, but i am not going to argue the toss why i think so.

/// we don't start seeing a problem white men as a group when similar crimes are commited by them, they have been caught & punished rightly so, i'm failing to see what their race has to do with it ///

Because there has been a number of such cases all committed by gangs of Asian men.

If there was a similar increase in a high number of such crimes committed by gangs of white men, black men, Chinese men, etc, etc. there would be an equivalent outcry.
they largely preyed on very young white girls, no where in these articles, tv news has it been said they targeted asian or black girls

Who they preyed on and who they targeted aren't necessarily the same.

Nowhere has it been said they targeted asian, black OR white girls.

They appear to have targeted the vulnerable and 'available' who were white.

As i asked Old Git above, where is the evidence that it was a racist offence in that they had a choice of vulnerables from various racial groups and chose to target just the whites?
//cannot understand what their ethnicity has to do with it //

Like Em, I think it has much to do with it - and as unsavoury as that might be to acknowledge, I don't believe denying it helps cure the problem.

It was white girls he was referring to.
The key word is 'vulnerable'. The victims were vulnerable, not like normal girls, and were easy prey for these defendants. That is the key to their being picked out, not their being white in itself. A vulnerable black girl could have been picked out just as easily. Now, it may be that these men think, that all white girls are 'easy' and would try with white girls first, so to that extent there's a racial elementi n their thinking, but that is mere speculation. Any girl who was not vulnerable would not have ended up as these victims did, even if she were out late or in a precinct.
