Following the riots, should this year's Notting Hill Carnival be cancelled/postponed?
Not sure myself - there are arguments for and against.

Notting Hill Carnival will take place whatever 'the authorities' say. I'm still looking forward to it anyway!

Hopefully it will go ahead as planned and allow the idiots of society to see that most cultures can get on with each other and enjoy life, too many events get cancelled because of knee jerk reactions. All this does is allow the minority to say how the rest of us will act in life (bit like the government in a way!!)
I agree buenchichris and chuck and there are more than enough elder folk to give the young uns a "clip behind the ear" if they try and get too rowdy whilst the carnivals in full swing but at the end as people are going home I reckon they'll have a another run in with the police as they did 2 or 3 years ago.

What is it you fiind offensive?
At the moment we have a dead man. The police said he was shot in retaliltion for one of their own being shot, but it turns out the bullet in the cop's radio was fired from a police gun. The gun recovered from the dead scumbag black gangsta was not a police gun. It was wrapped in a sock. Eyewitnesses said the police shot Duggen while he was on the ground.
So what's your objection?
