The first Christmas dinner out of the way. The next one Sunday. Another three to go. Roll on January! :o}

Wow. I have just the one xmas dinner anticipated. (Two if you include cold turkey Boxing Day.)

Awake (for now): unsure why. Thanks. Second part of the dental treatment later today. Tomorrow I have to see Dracula at the GP surgery, but I've woken up realising that I am assuming it is a non fasting contribution, but I didn't check.

I think they would have mentioned it, but, of course, it could have slipped their mind. I haven't had one for a long time. No doubt they will get round to me in due course.

They start putting nagging notes on my repeat prescription form when that time of the year comes around, so it's difficult for me to avoid. Annoyingly I discovered that they don't contact their customer if an issue is found, anyway. Was accused of being given a leaflet and told of a high reading last year when they'd done nothing of the sort. Beginning to look as if it's done to tick their boxes more than to benefit the customer.

That is not good news og. It's not right either. Sounds like skulduggery to cover themselves to me. Not acceptable. I would be asking awkward questions.

I'm putting it down to high (bad) cholesterol not being enough of a concern to bother. First time I've ever had a high reading anyway. Disappointing though.

It should always be a concern! I've got no idea what mine is like, I haven't been to see the doc, for a couple of years now. But I'm getting rewired at the hospice.

fine but for cold...took mum home last night after wee day out and dinner...in town today to pay a few bills and put cheques in...only one Barclays and it is in Princes Street...groan....banked with them when I first moved south nearly 40 years ago so too much bother to change now...cold and wet here...

mum going across to the church's carol service today..tea and goodies afterwards..trying to encourage her to mix more...will go up tomorrow..doing a mantel garland for her..write her cards then to a brass band christmas concert in the evening..will stay over...
