If you remembered 0-3 = You’re still young
If you remembered 3-6 = You are getting older
If you remembered 7-10 = Don't tell your age
If you remembered 11-14 = You're positively ancient!
I must be 'positively ancient' but those memories are some of the best parts of my life.
My memories of childhood are lino on the floor. clipping rugs in front of the fire, and ice on the inside of the windows in the winter. For those who don't know what a clipping rug is they were made out of old coats and a broken dolly peg.
I remember hand mangles and not having a fridge, TV or record player (Hi Fi before Hi Fi) We did get a radiogram though that was as large as a small car.
I guess that makes me older than dinosaurs??
Ummmm, I'm older than you and I only remember 6! Then again, maybe you were just posher than me - we never had ice at all, or a phone, so maybe these things were around, just not in my house ;)
All of them apart from the phone and the ice tray .We never had a phone or a fridge .
I remember the old mangle in the scullery like it was yesterday and the tele from Radio Rentals :)
