In what respect Ummmmm?
It stand to reason that it must be harder today to be both good and different.
Up his on elbow trying to be different for the sake of being different.

the good the bad and broccoli
were exactly that and has for the gorillaz at glasto .........................?
I understand that Mick that's why I lost faith in it I guess. It is hard to find an artist these days or band that stand out form the crowd for a good reason (talent). Everything seems to have been done.

I rarely find something now that catches my attention.
I just think he's produced some great tunes and he's very good live.
He was very good at Glasto....

I personally cannot stand the man. He generally always seems rude in interviews and seems to always be harping on about the bad things in the world but never seems to pull his finger out to do anything about it. Does he do charity work?

Musically also, I was never a real Blur fan (the odd tune here and there) and as for Gorillaz one semi decent album - this last one was awful in my opinion. But everyone likes something different. Each to there own and all that.
I like Oasis as well :-)
'created an energy never seen?' - I'll take you to task there Vibes!! Bill Hailey created that, Elvis created that......
Everyone is influenced by someone. That's just how it is, a lot of people would never have got in to music if it were not for the bands they loved. But there is being influenced and there is just being that band all over again.
Not according to the ones interviewed at the gig ummmm.

That's right Vibra and not unlike the girl power the Spice girls created.
Ummmmm - was Glasto awesome this year?

I watched some on tv, tbh there were not that many bands I would have liked to see this year. I am hoping to go next year! (never been)
Liam Gallagher - an arrogant bell end and a very average vocalist, his brother was the brains behind the band

Am I wrong?
It is only natural to be influenced by what you like. But these days people just seem to steal from the people they loved and re-hash it for today's market.

I absolutely love it when I find an album or band that blows me away these days cause it is now so rare for me. I should have always been a 60's baby instead of 80's, I missed exactly what I love today.
The line up wasn't great this year but it was still good. I loved it.....except for the tent..!
I am no tent lover myself. Probably camper van it. I have so far never been to a big festival - every time I try I seem to injure myself lol. Fingers crossed for next year.

Youtube them Vibra - neither were I. But I much prefer music from the 50's/60's and 70's than todays!
