Went to see Bruce last night at Cardiff the show was brilliant as usual but he was 3/4 of an hour late and no explanation is this arrogance from the great man or what?

Nope. Same on pretty much every date of the tour. He plays with no support act, so it's a case of 'show at 7.30 sharp' actually starting at 8.15 ensuring everyone is in the stadium and no-one misses anything. But in fairness, in Dublin he played for 165 mins, so no-one minded.

Think of it like being aked to arrive for dinner at 8, to be seated by 8.30
No concert ever starts on time, they like you to have as much time as possible to spend on buying merchandise/food/beer
On all the gigs in the current tour he has started around eight so coming on at ten past wasn't far off. Opening with an obscure track was a bid off but everything else was superb. He did play for three hours, with a fantastic version of thunder road. You cant really complain.
