Aye...they were all kings.

Hi sft42......I think I am looking for something more involved than that...I have checked dates, birth death and coronation. I have checked mother and father names, birth and death places, nicknames any other ideas?? :~))
william, henry, richard and james were all buried in france, george in hanover. so maybe its not buried in britain despite being king of it?
Sorry I was trying to be funny and it missed the mark.........how about they were all men then?
sft42 beat me to the sarcastic answer that I had planned! But were they not the first kings of houses? William I the first of the Normans, Henry II the first of the plantagenets, George I the first Hanoverians, etc.
but richard I was henry's son
and james ii was the 4th stuart
they all had numbers for middle names. Isn't this one where the king wasn't actually christened the same name which he decided to take on coronation?

no it isnt. henry, richard and william all were christend as such. I think James was too. George changed, I think because the hanoverians traditionally had stupid foreign sounding names like adolphus, which wouldnt have gone down well
Some suggestions... they were all born outside Britain.... they are all buried/died outside Britain... they were not married when crowned...
