Bar epernay in mailbox, scruffy duffys on broad st (rock) depends on what music you want to hear, there are quite a few.

Depends what kind of stuff you're after, Scruffy Murphy's in town sometimes has decent bands on, The Hibernian in Selly Park has a lot of tribute bands playing, The Jug of Ale in Moseley has some good local bands.
