Good Morning Early Birds!

Thursday. Yesterday turned out warm and sunny for a fair part of the day. I got the barbie cleaned down and stowed away for the winter. Tiggy can still get under it fore his supper. He doesn't stay out long mow it's getting a bit nippy at night.

Up to the hospice this morning. Always a pleasure. Pick up my oppo's missus on the way, she gets great benefit from it.

Oh great joy, it's just started persisting down. How nice:-/

Oh well have a happy day anyway everyone.

Morning boaty xxx .....well I'm here but only just !! Mid afternoon we lost power for several hours and while the wind didn't arrive, the rain did !!

Being an all electric house, we decided early on to get takeaway for tea then we found the whole state was powerless, everything closed and we cooked a fry up on the back verandah in the dark !!

At least the fire kept the house warm and the plates hot while we were cooking ...oh the joys of semi-camping !

Something major for the whole state to be out. I'll bet the sky looked spectacular though!.

Morning guys! Where are you camping seekerz? Morning WBM. I was very naughty yesterday - met a friend to do a bit of holiday shopping etc and we decided to st for lunch and a cheeky drink. 4 hours later we were still in the pub!!

Apparently several of the big towers were toppled up near Melrose and the big switch was thrown .....total blackout !! Ours came back on some time thru the night and it's all go now, but they're predicting more rubbish for the rest of the day ....typical September...we either get this or a run of 38d heat ....wunnerful

Well there's an elderly chap I pop in and see every Thursday. Completely out of my way but he's so lovely I can't not go. I see if he needs anything doing - T's normally things like changing light bulbs, making phone calls, ironing- things he finds difficult
