Wednesday. After two sunny days, albeit with a bite in the wind, it's overcast this morning. Summer din't last long, did it!

tiggy was still rootling about in the garden a few minutes ago. No idea what he was up to.

A lot of running around to do today. Could do without it.

Have a happy day everyone.

Afternoon oz. Nice to see you mate.

I get plenty of that! :o}

How are you keeping?
Yeah, doin alright thanks, how's yourself?
Question Author
Still breathing mate. I find it helps a bit. :o}
Question Author
How's retirement suiting you?
Temporary retirement, it's good so far, never been busier ;-).

Just going to pop over the road and fix the old fella's golf buggy. Since he had a stroke some years ago he isn't allowed to drive a car but is allowed to drive his buggy around town. Must keep 'im and 'er mobile.

Cya later.
Question Author
I find that too. I'm too busy to work!

Well done mate. It gives them a measure of freedom, which they treasure. Without the trundlebuggy they would probably be housebound.
His wife can drive her car, he lives in "pyjama house" up the other end of town. He usually drives his Flinstone mobile home during the day and to the shops etc. His wife is having to collect him each day but he wants that little bit of mobility.
Anyway, just missed them, his daily parole has finished and he's back to pyjama house for the night. I'll catch them in the morn.
Question Author
I see. Probably best in the long run. But they seem to have it sorted. :o}
Yeah, he had to go into the nursing home early this year, just too much for his wife to care for him 24hrs per day. Bit of a shame but at least he can get out and about a bit.
Question Author
Always sad to see that. It's love that keeps them both going I reckon.
Morning you two. The sun is shining. Our last day today so I might get drunk....again :-)

Only joking, I haven't been drunk, I'm usually ready for bed before the alcohol kicks in.

I've come to the conclusion that Brits are a bunch of moaning minnies...
This made me laugh on Facebook....

"Relationships are just two people constantly asking each other what they want to eat, until one of them dies"

Except the last bit that perfectly sums up our holiday.
Hope you've had a bonza time Ummmm.

No comment about whinging poms ;-)

"What would you like to eat?.
"Aw I dunno, what ever". A relationship of indecisiveness here.
Question Author
Morning ummmm xxx Sorry about the delay, just had a wee power cut. Most annoying. :o{

You? Drunk?? Well I never! :o}

Brits seem be be confused when they find 'abroad' isn't like UK and the locals don't speak English.

That's understandable Boaty, taking into account once upon a time a lot of the world was British, whether they liked it or not :-/

Vera was never quite sure what she was getting for lunch/dinner whatever, unless she asked for something particular, in which case she got it. She was my guineapig when I was in experimental mode. She would always give me her honest opinion, which I appreciated, if she didn't like it I didn't make it again. Or she would suggest a bit of tweaking with herbs and or spices.
Question Author
That's right oz. A weird bunch! :o}
Question Author
They did a lot of good around the world, but a lot more not so good. Arrogance, comes to mind.
Every one speaks English. Most of the signs are in English. We've met some lovely people, I'll be sad to go but looking forward to seeing my boys. I'd like to see my daughter too but she's in Ireland and that's another holiday :-)
