Thursday. Horizon to horizon cloud this morning. Not looking good. We had some heavy rain yesterday afternoon. The car needed a wash. :o} I don't think I'll be doing much outside today.
Good morning all
Hope you're all well
Big day for us - the precious babe starts big school today
She goes mornings today and then stays for lunch tomorrow then next week she's doing a whole week. There has not been a greater fuss since prince William started school and I fully expect the worlds press at the school gates!
I'm fine thanks. Up with the lark as instructed to phone the logistics company whose truck I'm meeting this morning "about sixish".
Turns out to be more like "half sevenish". Another hour in bed missed.
Never mind I can doze on the way to the frozen wastes of Fraserburgh, it's a fairly straight road apart from a sharp left in Dundee. :-D
Good morning Boatie and everyone else. Only 7 more sleeps till I fly home. Off out in a moment to supermarket before it gets too hot,I walk there and taxi back. Looking forward to coming home.
Himself is fine thank you,he'll follow me after a week or so. He'll work from home for a while and then younger son's wedding at the beginning of October.
Off to Tunbridge Wells today. Our visit was cancelled last week becauseof the terrible weather so we're off into the wilds of Kent this morning. I'll have a mooch around the shops while he attends to business meetings etc. Then we'll meet up for a nice lunch somewhere. Rain is to stay away...or so the weather bimbos tell us.
so far.have stayed over at mum's..cleared the conservatory out and put old furniture on pavement for collection this morning, half of it has been taken away by the night fairies already...bin men will only have a few bits to collect now....conservatory folk due around 9am...will stay 'till lunch time..sis is back ..there is only room for one of us here....safely that is..plenty of bedrooms but ...
younger son is thinking of moving up to Dundee..so she is staying for that..we all hope he moves then the problems are not on mum's doorstep..as older son will have to follow..
