Unfortunately ladyalex my husband had another stroke and am spending 4 hours a day at the hospital sitting with him. Apart from that everyone else is fine. Such is life.

So sorry to hear that grasscarp, I do hope that your husband will soon be out of hospital and go on to progress towards a normal enough lifestyle.

Many thanks all for your kind wishes. Last night I said to him, I am going to go now. To which he replied: Go where?
He has had mini strokes (TIAs) before but this time has affected him more. Luckily really lovely staff on the wards - all very kind and caring.

Oh hello im fine thank you!!! I was tired early last night and looked in but didnt post!!

Thanks for asking....i called GP/Boss/healthy working people and have a "plan" back next week with a days annual leave for a few weeks to keep me down to two shifts a week and far apart. Im happy with that.

Ordered myself a few new pens and a new fob watch haha!!!!!! Planning on getting a big tray of cupcakes to take in with me ...also got a beautiful bunch of flowers delivered from the ward yesterday.....

Very kind of you all to ask after me....and grasscarp my best wishes to you and mr grasscarp.....we are here for you xxxx
