I've heard a song on the radio quite a few times and can't catch the title or the singer, and to my shame, most of the words. The first line seems to be 'Meet me at the....... then there ....... 'the harlequin clowns' I can;t remember any more than that. It is sung by a laid back sort of guy maybe the Brian Ferry sort. Any Help?

My first introduction to them was about 10 years ago, when I used to listen to 'fisherman's blues' on the radio early on Sunday mornings.

I've only just caught up with them chipchopper since listening to this song I couldn't identify. I really like their style.
I 'bumped into' The Waterboys at 2am in a hotel bar. They 'produced' their instruments from somewhere and treated me to a 3 hour free concert. Wouldn't let me buy a drink either, lol.
Apparently the song is about a real person, so its
truly a song from the heart.

I love the Line "I knew I had to see her
So I grabbed my Davy Crocket
Threw a scarf around my neck and $20 in my pocket" Immortal!!!
