Mine include:
1. Age 16 on Calendar Dreams (a sort of regional Jim'll Fix it) riding an elephant
2. As an extra (a prostitute) in an episode of Kavanagh QC
3. When my daughter was toddler she was accosted by a dodgy looking Santa on a Scarborough street. When he grabbed her I batted him, not knowing he was a TV interviewer asking kids what they wanted for Xmas
4. I appeared in every episode of a 6 part documentary filmed for the now defunct BBC Choice channel. The videos are kept under lock & key until I die as they are very embarrassing.
There have been other TV appearances but I won't bore you with any more at the moment

Only a quick appearance on the local news. A child at my sons nursery went down with meningitis and the local wanted to interview other parents. I said no and walked off...lol
Eggheads!
I've been in the audience on Juke Box Jury - and a couple of years ago, several shots of OH and me waiting in the queue in Flog It.

I'm impressed puzzled! How did you do?
Question Author
boxy, how much did you get for him? lol
Came second
I've not even had a photo of me on the telly
I use to dance on Top of the Pops. When Bridge Over Troubled Water was number 1, they showed shots of my face over some waves rippling on the shore.
I was also on Airport teaching Jeremy Spake how to fly a 747 in the simulator.
I was in the audience for Sixth Sense with Colin Fry but he was so not good that they never aired the episode.

I love going to quizzes etc but I would never dare apply for any TV show as I am afraid of making a fool of myself.

What a shame ummmm and prudie
1) on the news walking out of my workplace where they had just found out someone working at the hospital had munchaussens syndrome by proxy (at the time of beverly allit ish)
2) contestant on 15-1
In the audience at 'Deal or No Deal'. Also, several appearances in 'Homes Under the Hammer', but I never made a bid!

Strangely in 'Deal or No Deal', the audience members are requested to dress in black when coming to the show. I suppose it's not to detract from Noel Edmunds shirts!
Question Author
mick, maybe one day you will be on tv...Crimewatch perhaps? lol
puzzled, isn't there only win or lose on eggheads??
Question Author
gosh, some interesting stories coming out here. Keep em coming!
I wouldn't rule that out (hope they use my best side)
Apart from the camping film (previous post) I was on the old black and white News when my companion had a nasty fall in the Alps and I got frostbite getting him to safety. We were interviewed in the valley afterwards.
my brother's going to be on Crimewatch (not as a crim though). I was on a Welsh language news programme when I as about seven as part of a group doing judo (had to watch it all week and it wasn't on until Friday and none of could understand a word being said).
