Temporary parking restrictions

My husband parks in the same residential road every day & he buys a regular supply of parking permits approx 4 weeks in advance, he was totally unaware that for two days last week a temporary parking restriction had been placed outside 2 houses in the road, which his wheels had parked slightly on 1 of the spaces, & he got a parking ticket. he says there were no obvious signs showing a parking restriction & has since gone up the road to look for any signs, he found one sign on the payment meter, but as he already had his permit he never saw that sign as had no reason to walk up the road to the meter. have we got a case to argue or shall we just shut up & pay up. Any advice please.

Have Your Say

With road tax hikes hitting those with 2001-2006 registered cars, would you consider selling up and buying a pre-2001 model to escape the the tax mans wrath?

Yes
