Auction is pretty hassle free, just take it down there and wave goodbye, get a cheque in the post. To get the best price though hassle is unavoidable.

I have always found local papers a good method. They often offer deals where you advertise for say 3 days and they give you 2 days free.

It depends if you want the best price and what condition it's in. Any garage will give you cash for it. In the mean time just put some 'For Sale' signs in the windows.

Put a realistic price on it and put it in your local paper (free ads if poss).
