I was angry and upset. I didn't want to physically punch her. I was just so angry at her that she could be so stupid.
Your telling me I need therapy, because I felt like punching my wife because she did something that could have killed someone, are you serious ?
Leaving your handbrake off!!! come on, you don't deserve to behind a wheel if you make a mistake like that.
What if my children had been in the car ? Don't you understand the seriousness of leaving your handbrake off ???
It's idiotic mistakes and not concentrating that get's innocent people killed.

take no notice of he J arthurs above. She's clearly a danger to herself and others, discouage her from driving again, or get her some training. I know you wouldn't really punch her and I can understand how you feel about her obvious innability.

Craft1948, I've kept my silence for almost 6 years about her driving and this was the last straw. She's backed into lamposts, mounted kerbs when driving. almost ran someone over, and I get shot down because I said I was angry with her ?

dingodavey, no I don't work, I'm disabled. I've got a 5.56mm round near my spine when I was shot, and I'm in constant pain with it. I'm on 16 pills per day for the pain. So no, it's not that I don't work, it'sthe fact I can't.
I don't see what my employment or anything else has to do with this discussion. For everyone's information and for those who simply wish to judge me and make idiotic assumptions.
Here is a breakdown for you. I've worked from the day I left school. I joined the army, done a couple of tours in Ireland. I was shot in the back dragging my friend into cover when we got sniped. I came out of the army was able to work, but the round gradually started to work it's way to my sciatic nerve over the last 15 years, untill two years ago I could no longer work because of the intense pain.
My doctor said i'll be in a wheelchair by the time I'm 45 ( i'm now 34 ) they could operate but there is a 50% I would be pralysed.
so for all you haters who commented, think before you go and judge.

Fair comment about your wife's dodgy driving, but you have no right to moan about the kerbed wheels... that's your fault for letting someone else drive your 'pride & Joy' in the first place...

Glidr - I'm with you on this one - bloody women drivers.. no not all of them - just the ones who worry more about makeup and hair etc rather than the driving of the car.
Never let her near a car again!
Actually - even better idea - ask Zacmaster and NORMANTHEDO if your Wife can borrow their car!!! See if he has a rant when she prangs that!!! he he he
By the way - she hasnt been anywhere near Woking lately has she - some ba*** reversed into my sports car and drove off leaving a dent! Car is in for repair now and I am suck with a VW Polo with wind-up windows and no air con on the hottest week of the year! Grrrrr
