saab 93 V reg faulty brake light

changed bulb but still shows fault on sid,changed bulb again same problem but also when driving or stationary when i depress break pedal headlights come on,but don't when side lights switched on ,anybody got any ideas?
prev crack in sump, how?
  
next Need help with my car don't know what the problem is can someone help please

It sounds as if you have a wrong bulb in somewhere, maybe a single filament in place of a double or vice-versa I would check that first.
