my car is a vauxhall corsa 1.2 1996, when i start engine up sometimes the engine making a louder kinda of juddering sound than it normally would, sometimes when i go to go off not all the power is there and kinda judders then it'll pick up speed its not a violent judder its very minor, and then as soon as i put in 2nd gear it does same thing it'll just make some noise and then suddenly pick up its power its like not the all the power or something is releasing and its not going as it should.

and im not sure what it is, also i have noticed some creamy stuff under my oil cap and i know some people say its the head gasket going but i don't believe this i think it may be due to me driving very short distances and the engine not heating up enough thus but i i think il just give it a long run everynow and then to help.

Sounds like the Clutch going to me
Would defo agree clutch going or at the very least the clutch cable, hope its the latter of the 2, as for the creamy stuff, could be head gasket I had same sort of problem with my 96 VW recently, best get it checked out before you try to take it on any long distances, you really dont want clutch going on the motorway!
Oil and water are mixing, hence the mayonnaise looking stuff. Very likely a head gasket problem. Sometimes a rise in engine temperature will also be present and possibly more smoky from the exhaust. This can cause serious engine problems if left unfixed for too long.

Getting it sorted out immediately would be very wise.

The engine may possibly sieze up if left unfixed as the lubricating properties of the oil are much reduced when mixed with water.
Sounds like an engine management problem, won't be the clutch or head gasket.

Astra's seem to run to cool as you say causing the mayonnaise effect under the oil filler cap.
my money is on a misfire, faulty lead or spark plug or even a coil pack, if i remember also some of these were still running on distributors, so check the distributor cap and rotor arm.
I agree with David, as I suspect your model year has the old type ignition system. Especially check for oil inside the distributor cap. Also, this system used to eat spark plug electrodes.
def head gasket, check water pump also
