hi good people,
my r reg land rover discoverery has started to lurch or surge (for wont of better words) as im driving at about 30 mph.
it seems like it wants to change gear (its an automatic) and a yellow light CHECK ENGINE will flicker on and off????? any body had the same trouble and if so tell me it a cheap fix....PLEASSSSE

I suspect a sensor fault here, If you get the car CODE CHECKED it should come up with a Diognostic result.

spot on twr
a diagnostic showed a throttle position sensor(potentiometer) was the fault.....a snip at £950 smackers to fix tho....
