VTRs manufactured pre October 1999 (and thus including T reg) were 90bhp.
Question Author
nice one just bought a 207 wich i think is 90 bhp as well but a 1.4
Although they may have the same BHP, a Citroen Saxo would be a lot lighter than the 207 but be less protected in an accident as the 207 would be heavier due to NCAP safety tests.
Question Author
thats good news having a child then ...good to now the car will be more protected..i realise the 207 is heavier but will it afffect the pulling of power much...?
hi villa fan007 as one villa fan to another its not just how much bhp the engine produces its how much torque the engine produces that = pulling power.
Question Author
so wich will be quicker old saxo or new 1.4 16v sport
the saxo will be quicker due mainly to it's lower weight, however as previous poster said the 207 is far safer. Saxo's just feel like they are made from tin foil!

the 207 1.4 sport 0-62 time is 12.5s
saxo VTR 0-60 time is 10s

vtr are 90bhp , i owned a vts and these are 130bhp.
