hi
i went out in my car today and whilst i was driving there was a rattling noise coming from behind the steering wheel and then suddenly the whole car started shaking. the engine management light also came on so i wanted to get home and found the shortest route possible. i went through what i think was a red light camera just after the lights went red because my car wouldn't stop and was shaking really badly. will i have been caught and if so will i be able to contest it based on the info above? thank u.

I don't know if you've been caught - but using that as a defence will only get you in more trouble.

'Car wouldn't stop' is frightening. Shaking really badly - you should have pulled over at the first possible opportunity rather than drive an unsafe vehicle.

You'll just have to wait and see.
Nice story!

A bit more imaginative than your usual.

Watch out though, Norman's got that nervous tick in his eyelid again, and he went in the back room to load the blunderbus.
I agree with ethe you should have stopped at the earliest possible time. If you say the car would not stop, you are asking to be nicked for defective brakes, and you don't want that.
