I have just received my first photo driving licence (having had a paper one for the last 10 years) and I was gobsmacked to see that on the card - United Kingdom is spelt wrong! Its spelt United Kimgdom!
Shall I just ignore it or will it cause issues in the future ie. when I want to hire cars abroad etc??

That's brilliant!! You'd think they'd be able to spell that wouldn't you? Or at least that it would be in automatically! If I was you, I would give them a ring. I'm sure if they do need to change it they will do it for free seeing as it's their error. It will put your mind at rest when you go abroad, otherwise you might worry. Cheers
mine doesn't even say United Kimgdom. It has UK in the EC flag and Scotland somewhere else.
Get it changed before some copper uses it as an excuse for a fardulent or faked licence.
hi there ive had mine ages and they have spelt englande with an e on end
Ooooh dear this one really takes the biscuit!!

Yes, definately take/post it back and get it sorted along with a strongly worded letter if I were you!

And yes, it could take an over cautious copper to look upon it as a fraudulant licence.
