i did the same with the AA threatened to go to greenflag
they dropped it by 50 (think they are now trying it on)
I wouldn't use either RAC or AA.
I saw a RAC 'mechanic' try to send a car on a 120 mile recovery, due to a warning light on the dashboard. When the washer bottle was filled up the light went out.
I have also heard of a fellow who ran over a brick in the road, puncturing 2 tyres. The AA class that as an accident, not a breakdown, and wouldn't cover it.
I know they do repair a lot of cars, but they also don't do what they say.
The people I am with charge 32 per year, for me, not my cars, and cover caravan and trailers as well, recovery and breakdown.
who are you with ANDY BOZ?
i have also had a problem with AA patrol man told me i had a faulty crank sensor & towed me home, fixed it myself next day the HT lead had come away.
