A friend of mine has to do a Speed Awareness Course.

This friend of mine got caught by a speed gun two or three weeks ago.

At least my friend gets to keep my ... I mean "her" ... clean licence.

It is for me Alba. I try very hard though, but usually creep up to 35 ish in a 30mph limit along with the rest of folk.

Usually, my son (who got caught out) is usually much better than I am at sticking to speed limits. I am not a naturally slow driver!!

alba ...

If you drive from here to London in the morning, all threlanes (on the three lane stretch) are doing over 70.

Even the inside lane moves at about 70 and a bit, except for the speed restricted vehicles.

If you totally refused EVER to speed, even a little bit, all the other cars would have to go round you.

But it's nice to hear that you have never, ever gone over 70 on a motorway. At least there is one sensible driver here.

=0)
But in 40+ years of driving, I have had no accidents and no points on my licence!!

Oh, poop ... I fancy a Jammie Dodger now.
Slow hesitant drivers cause more accidents than those that speed just a little bit. I am not talking about reckless speeds. Slow drivers should be banned from motorways in my opinion.
I know I know, it's easy to slip over over the speed limit. Just having a moody with pc l lappy and rojash.

Sorry for the strop xx
Agree Lottie, I am not a slow driver, they drive me loopy! watch the speed limits and really watch out for cameras, but hate 30 mph, and only do that when I suspect may be a camera!..........always drive at 70 on the motorway!......but that's it!...

No, you're right, Trim.

That was pointlessly picky.

I'm sorry.

I should add, I do like MarkRae, though.
