Why does she have to make idiots out of us oldies?

Been retired a good 20 years always been a busy person, cope with most things life throws at you, but just lately the old devil is making my feet stick to the floor when I walk, every bone and bit of flesh hurts just about all day and half the night.

Arthritis needs a kick up the b u m...I resorted to getting myself a scooter to get around but even that is now an effort to get out of the car and put together.

Same here. You know what they say, "Life's a *** and then you die."
Nothing wrong with a justified moan, life is cruel, yes.
Oh dear, AB being rather prim today. I ought to have said that life is a female of the canine species...
Why don't you try an exercise bike, and start off, say for 5 min then increase it from day to day or week to week?
20 y ? what are you whining about for chrissakes
I started chemo three months after retiring....
I don't think cupotee intended this as a competition on whose pain is the worst or longest enduring.

It does no harm to get something off your chest when you're hurting.

I don't moan much because I hate those around me to worry.
Peter...and my dad died aged 59! People are entitled to moan when they feel like it.
Peter...that was a rude and unnecessary post.....
I'm sure most of us would want a good moan if you're in pain day and night.

Moan away, cupotee....
Hope you feel better soon- xx
I fail to understand why PP is still here, some of his posts are downright nasty, the rest are unintelligible.
Cupotee, hope you have a better day tomorrow.
^^^^^ Ditto from me,cupotee x x
Sorry, cupotee2, about your arthritis.
If I were you I would ask my doctor to refer me to a specialist to get some pain relief.
I know that one cupo. As Vera used to say, Life's a female dog. therm you marry one.
Dear cupotee2,
If you type in "Help for arthritic feet" in Google or other search engine you will find several entries on the subject. I hope that there will be something there which will help you get some pain relief.
Know what you mean tee. And I've most of that to look forward to yet. (Or not, as the case may be.)
Morning, Cupotee.....you didn't come back last night......hope Peter's comment didn't bother you....

....and that you're feeling better this morning....not that you were being moany last night..........and I hope you bling up that scooter.....☺

Thanks everyone. I missed the remark that was deleted. Seems it was better I did.

I wasn't really moaning, just writing down my thoughts at the time.

Pain and arthritis isn't new to me. Had 5 main joints replaced since I retired.

I think yesterday got to me a bit as I had to get my husband to hospital, poured with rain all the way there, the car park was utter chaos then we realised we were in the wrong area of a very large hospital.

Anyway today is a new day...sun trying to poke through so onwards and upwards eh.

Hope your all having a good day x
Try being 55 and getting Rhuematoid Arthritis -going from being physically fit and very active one minute to walking with a stick and in constant pain - at least you've had 20 years healthy post-retirement!
