when I got my car I thought other like cars would at least acknowledge me but they're a right arsey lot!

because they like to acknoledge that they all have the same bad taste in cars, boy are those scoobys ugly.

The reason they do it is beacaue it's a form of camoradery. Excatly the same thing applies to bikers, who nod at each other as they pass. (Harley Davidson riders being the exception)
