citroen c5

have recently changed battery on citroen c5. remote key fob not worked for over a year. engine turning over but not firing. a red light on instrument panel lit up showing a key. not seen this before. is my car immobilised and how do i solve

Hi being that this light is a Warning, I guess it has to do with the Key Code, it may want re/codeing, Just a thought.
