Wednesday. It's looking like a nice day again. Which is good as I am out with friends on their boat. Always good fun. So I shall be away at 8 this morning.

Tiggy still pootling about enjoying himself.

Just been out to deliver birthday card to DIL. It's all very still and very pleasent outside. didn't need a jacket. So it's looking good for the day out on the water.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning og. the sky is clear and there's big moon shining, Well, here anyway. A couple of wee green men digging up some cheese on it. ;o}
Can't see the moon from my windows but there's some reflected light from somewhere.
I ough not use the mobile to check the time. It seems to wake me up. Perhaps I should go out for a pootle too now then.
Question Author
No good getting woken up looking at a mobile. ;o} i recommend a wee stroll, it really is nice out this morning. It's my favourite time of day...or night. It's getting light along the skyline now. Beautiful.
Less so over the tops of rooves.
Question Author
That's true. I don't have that problem. I'm at the top of a two hundred and eighty foot hill.
Sounds good. Must have a lot of locks to get your boat up there.
Question Author
There would be, if the canal came up here! :o}The Gloucester and Sharpness canal is a wee bit above sea level. There is a lock in Sharpness docks to allow ships (and boats) in and out at hight tide. Mo locks on the canal itself. It was put in to take 2000 ton ships into Gloucester docks. The stretch of the River Severn it bypasses is tidal and has many sandbanks, so is very dangerous to shipping. No arch bridges on it either, seventeen swing bridges.

Some older merchant seamen still call it 'The Sixteen'. It's sixteen miles long, at it's narrowest it's sixteen yards wide, (at one of the bridges) It's sixteen feet deep and, when it was built, it had sixteen bridges. Our visitor Centre is by the right mile marker.

That should, of course be No locks, not Mo locks. [ duh!
Ah. And there was I picturing you boating into and back from work each day. Half thought you might live in a boat and moor up by Tiggy's garden each night.
Question Author

Question Author
I'm going to see if I can print that off! :o}
I'm alright thanks Boaty.

But my you beaut pooter ain't ;-(.

Tried many fixes today, all to no avail. No1 son will ring tonight and we'll try a couple more things. I suspect it has a motherboard or software problem. If it's the motherboard it will be striped for parts and trashed,,,,,bummer,,,,it's only about 5 yrs old.
You could use it to make a "Beware Of The Hedgehog" sign for the front door or gate.
Question Author
That's what I had in mind oz! :o}

Not so good re the poota. Do you want to borrow me big 'ammer? Never fails. Scares it into playing nicely! :o}
Question Author

Good mornomng Boaty & all, up bright and early to another hectic day, I signed off a post I had on Tues with a " Tara" I was knackered, been sorting my Daughter's house, was on a Mini Digger digging up the tarmac drive, the drive was part Tarmac part soil, today I have to reposition a 6ft brick post that I removed, so to you all, have a good one & dont get sun burnt.
It's a bit more techo than the "big 'ammer" Boaty.

Gracebond is a spammer, 4 answers all in travel advertising a place in Richmond Tasmania regardless of the OP. Shame, coz I've been there and it is a beautiful place.

You could download the piccy and change the wording on it, then print.
