The sky is almost clear, some cloud about, but rain is on it's way, so we are told. So possibly not much to be done outside. There's plenty to do inside, like sitting on the recliner to make sure it doesn't move, the paper has to be read etc. :o}
Full of cold, flu and hacking cough. Ah well, c'est la vie I suppose. It'll pass. Doing quite a bit of training at the moment as I'm doing 20 miles for charity in June I did .5 miles yesterday and today, I'm going to go for approx. 8... I hope !
How are you these days good sir? Haven't spoken to you for ages. How are your dogs?
Morning Diz & Jan.
Trust you are both well.
It's been a gorgeous day here, warmed up nicely after a few days of cold & rainy weather. Spent most of the day doing reports for the taxman and writing him cheques, yuk!
Thanks boaty. It's only a cold so it'll pass. It's just at that "bunged up" stage and coughing like crazy. Sounds more like a bark than a cough. I've been living the high life lately and now I'm paying the price. I need to get out into the fresh air and get some of that old sea air in to my old lungs.
Dr Boatman to the ER please, calling Dr Boatman.... Yes, you are right. I should NOT be training so I'll maybe only do 3-4 miles today. Achilles is STILL a problem. Think after that, I'll just sit and do nowt, a great big load of nowt !
I may even get around to making base camp at Mt Ironing.
jan the sea air will indeed help, but walk. don't try to run. Walk as long as you like, but gently. The clean sea air is better then the germ laden air indoors. You do worry me at times young lady! ;o}
