I'm desperate to find out the name of the puppet/marionette act that regularly performed on the UK variety show: Sunday Night at the London Palladium, around the mid 60's. It's not so much the act I'm interested in it's a piece of violin music one of the acts performed to.
If I could find the name of this act it would be a start as I've had no luck at all via Google etc!

I know it's a long shot but no harm in trying I guess.

Thanks for your time.

i remember the little italian mouse called topo Gigio. Could it be him? I used to sit through the boring bits, waiting for him to appear!
If you google him, you'll see lots of pictures. x

I seem to remember this was an ITV show. Try writing to their archive section as they will probably have the info you need.
Was it Lamb Chop with Shari Lewis?
Pepi? I think he looked a bit like a clown.
